This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using IVOAI's services, including KaaS, SaL and the BoB app. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to all users.

1. General conduct

When using IVOAI services, you agree to:

  • Use our services lawfully and in accordance with all applicable Australian laws
  • Treat our AI team members (SaL, BoB) with the same respect you'd afford any service provider
  • Provide accurate information when requesting support or services
  • Cooperate with reasonable security measures and recommendations

2. Prohibited activities

You must not:

2.1 Illegal activity

  • Use IVOAI services to facilitate, promote or engage in any unlawful activity
  • Store, distribute or transmit illegal content through devices managed by IVOAI
  • Use our services to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others

2.2 Unauthorised access

  • Attempt to access other clients' data, accounts or managed devices
  • Attempt to access IVOAI's internal systems, infrastructure or administrative controls
  • Circumvent, disable or interfere with security features of our services

2.3 Reverse engineering

  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the BoB app, KaaS or SaL systems
  • Attempt to extract source code, algorithms or proprietary methods
  • Copy, reproduce or create derivative works based on our platform

2.4 Misuse of SaL

  • Use SaL for harassment, abuse, threats or intimidation of any person
  • Instruct SaL to perform illegal activities or access unauthorised systems
  • Attempt to manipulate SaL into bypassing security controls or service boundaries
  • Share your SaL access credentials with others — SaL is a single-user service and accepts instructions only from the account holder

2.5 Account misuse

  • Share your login credentials or account access with any other person
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent service limits or restrictions
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

2.6 Resource abuse

  • Abuse API credits through automated scripts, bots or excessive programmatic access
  • Use services in a manner that degrades performance for other clients
  • Deliberately generate false alerts, tickets or support requests

3. Fair use

Our subscription plans include generous allowances for normal use. We consider "fair use" to mean usage consistent with a typical individual or small business client. If we notice usage patterns significantly beyond normal levels, we'll contact you to discuss — we won't cut you off without warning.

4. Consequences of violation

If you violate this AUP, we follow a graduated response:

  1. Warning — we notify you of the violation and request that you stop the behaviour
  2. Suspension — temporary suspension of your account while we investigate or await resolution
  3. Termination — permanent termination of your account and services

For non-serious breaches, you will receive a 14-day cure period to remedy the violation before suspension or termination. Serious violations (such as illegal activity or deliberate security breaches) may result in immediate suspension without a cure period.

5. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP — by yourself or another user — please report it to us immediately:

  • Email: hello@ivoai.com.au
  • Through the BoB app

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or the BoB app at least 30 days in advance.

7. Governing law

This AUP is governed by the laws of South Australia and forms part of our Terms of Service.
