IVOAI Technologies Pty Ltd (ACN 699 170 682, ABN pending) ("IVOAI", "we", "us") operates BoB — an AI-managed IT product consisting of a desktop application, mobile application, cloud service, and website. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. What We Collect
Device information (with your consent):
- Computer: hardware specifications (make, model, CPU, RAM), operating system version, installed software names and versions, driver status, security software status, network adapter information, storage capacity and usage
- Phone: device model, operating system version, battery status, storage capacity and usage, WiFi network name and security type
Account information (if you sign up):
- Email address, name, password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
Usage information:
- Health scores, audit findings, maintenance reports, chat messages with BoB
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- Personal files, documents, photos, or media content
- Browser history, bookmarks, or cookies
- Passwords, banking details, or financial information
- Email content, messages, or communications
- GPS location data
- Biometric data
- Data from third-party applications on your devices
3. How We Use Your Information
- Generate health scores and audit reports for your devices
- Provide personalised IT recommendations
- Monitor device health and alert you to issues
- Sync your data across your devices (desktop and phone)
- Respond to your support requests
- Improve our services
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties. Ever.
4. Where Your Data Lives
- On your device: Scan results, health scores, and credentials are stored locally on your computer or phone. Integration credentials (e.g., smart home accounts) are encrypted with AES-256 and stored only on your device — never transmitted to IVOAI.
- In the cloud (if you create an account): Account details, health scores, audit summaries, and chat history are stored on our servers hosted in Australia.
5. Data Security
- All cloud communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt)
- Local credentials are encrypted with AES-256-CBC
- Database access is restricted and logged
- We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988
6. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability: Export your data in a standard format
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdrawal: Withdraw consent at any time — BoB will stop scanning and you can uninstall

7. Third-Party Services
BoB may integrate with third-party services on your behalf (e.g., Ecovacs, Proton). When you connect these services:
- Your credentials for those services are stored locally on your device only, encrypted
- IVOAI does not have access to your third-party service passwords
- BoB connects to those services directly from your device, not through our servers
8. Children's Privacy
BoB is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app and on our website. Material changes will be notified via email if you have an account.
